The Autism Society of the RMWB is dedicated to fostering an inclusive community by offering programming, support, and resources for autistic and neurodiverse individuals, as well as those living with disabilities and their families, throughout their lifespan. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the organization empowers families and individuals to navigate their unique journeys.

Our facility is dedicated to providing inclusive, compassionate support to families and individuals navigating life with Autism, Neurodiversity, and Disabilities. We offer a wide range of services designed to empower, educate, and create a sense of community. Resource Navigation and Family Support: We provide hands-on assistance for families, helping them access resources and programs tailored to their needs. Our trained staff guide families through available services, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Training and Awareness: Our training sessions promote understanding of Autism, Neurodiversity, and the challenges faced by individuals with Disabilities. These programs are designed for educators, caregivers, and community members, fostering a more inclusive and empathetic environment. Educational Tools and Sensory Support: We deliver program bins and guide educators on how to use specialized materials, providing access to a sensory store, sensory room, and a lending shelf for tools that help support learning and sensory needs. We host sensory family events, develop meaningful community relationships, and assist in organizing awareness and acceptance initiatives.

Through these efforts, we strive to create an inclusive community for all. Specialized Programs for All Ages: From inclusive summer camps and social respite care for children to life skills programs and social adult programming, we offer diverse services that cater to various age groups.

Additionally, our employment and life skills programs aim to empower individuals by developing independence and career readiness. Staff Development and Organizational Growth: We invest in staff development and actively engage in advertising efforts to raise awareness and grow our organization’s impact.
