Campaigns that reach 75 percent of their campaign goal within four

ROBORAISE for Youth STEAM&Leadership Education
For over a century, Chinese immigrants have made invaluable contributions to Canadian society, bringing with them a culture that values knowledge, education, perseverance, and collectivism. It's no surprise that many Chinese immigrants prioritize these values when it comes to their careers and their children's education. Research by the Canadian government shows that immigrants make up 24% of the national workforce, but they account for 39% of computer programmers and 41% of engineers, demonstrating a preference for technical-oriented careers. However, this can also lead to challenges in developing strong communication skills, which can create miscommunication, tension, and ultimately a sense of isolation or exclusion for many Chinese immigrants. Cultural differences, stereotypes, and biases can all contribute to these challenges, with Chinese youth being stereotyped as "quiet" or "reserved", leading to a perception of a lack of leadership potential and confidence. By creating mentorship programs, organizing leadership workshops, and offering internship opportunities, we can provide Chinese immigrant youth with the tools and resources they need to develop their leadership potential. By empowering these youth, we can foster a more inclusive and diverse society where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
In alignment with the objectives aforementioned, C&C Education Foundation has dedicated to fostering a sense of leadership and fellowship among our club members for multiple years. Our approach encourages members to to express themselves and to communicate with each others. Recently, one of our teams, CHEEZdEms, from the C and C Robotic Club, earned the Alberta FLL Champion’s Award in the Alberta Championship Tournament –FIRST LEGO League Challenge 2023. This challenge engages students in team-building and thrilling, sports-like competitions that foster creative problem-solving, leadership, communication, self-confidence, and a sense of belonging. Our team's outstanding performance in the competition is largely attributed to our emphasis on developing leadership qualities and team spirit.
By supporting C&C Education Foundation, you can help us empower more Chinese immigrant youths and create a more inclusive and diverse society. At present, the C and C Education Foundation intends to recruit more group members, mentors, and funding to effectively expand and sustain our Robotic Club program.
