Help remote communities manage plastic!

At The Society of High Prairie Regional Environmental Action Committee (REAC), we're on a mission to improve waste management practices for rural, remote, and Indigenous communities in Northern Alberta. With your support, we can create the first independent, small scale plastics remanufacture facility!

Every day, we see the impact of plastics on individuals and families, schools and businesses, our environment, and animals, and what we don't see, in the form of microplastics, is turning out to be even worse. We want to recycle, and shipping plastic further than 250 km is not cost effective. 

So let's recycle at the remote, rural, and Indigenous communities where plastic becomes 'waste! We need your help to get the small scale plastics remanufacture equipment needed to make new things out of consumer plastic.
