At 5 Freedoms, we rescue, rehabilitate, and reconnect horses who have experienced neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Many arrive in silence — starving, shut down, and without trust. Here, they find safety, care, and the freedom to heal.

But this is more than a rescue.
Our horses become healers themselves.

Through powerful, non-therapist-led programs, our rescued horses help Indigenous youth, trauma survivors, and those struggling with mental health rediscover hope and connection. We’ve witnessed moments nothing short of miraculous!!
