Temple Beth Ora is Edmonton's only Reform Jewish congregation, with a mission to welcome and support diversity of members of the Jewish community.  This mission is supported by our Rabbah, Gila Caine, who is strongly committed to building community as well as our own flavour of Jewish tradition.

In a smaller community like ours, the Rabbi forms the backbone of the congregation.  Rabbah Caine plays an essential role in our shul community and in Edmonton's wider Jewish and non=Jewish communities.   Your gift directly supports Rabbah Caine's ability to:

 - Offer thoughtful Torah teachings, which tie our tradition to relevant issues today;

 - Provide personalized support, nurture relationships, and offer comfort during times of celebration and loss, like brit m'ilah and baby namings, weddings and funerals;

 - Represent Beth Ora as a leader in the Edmonton Jewish community and serve as a resource for the Talmud Torah School and other institutions; and

 - Teach B'nei Mitzvah groups each year, which provide a range of learning opportunities for young people, making this important milestone even more special for families.
