For nearly 25 years, Rowan House Society has been providing domestic violence and abuse prevention and intervention services to communities in southern Alberta, specifically Foothills County, the MD of Willow Creek, and Vulcan County. In doing so, we work to fulfill our mission, we are here to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse in our communities and our vision, we aspire to compassionately erase domestic violence and abuse. We do this through various supports and services within our seven core programs:

7. Safe at Home Program

Rowan House trauma-informed services take into account an understanding of trauma in all aspects of service delivery. Through this lens, while we put safety first, we work to prevent the re-traumatization of the individuals in our care.

The area served by Rowan House is spread over 27,500 square kilometres and three municipal districts: Foothills County, the MD of Willow Creek, and Vulcan County.
