Neuro Centered Rehabilitation and Wellness Community (Neuro Centered) is a non-profit, community-based neurological rehabilitation and wellness organization dedicated to providing affordable, safe, and effective care for individuals living with neurological conditions. We strive to be a beacon of hope for people of all diagnoses and prognoses by delivering compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based rehabilitation.
Neuro Centered was created to address critical gaps in the healthcare system. Many individuals with neurological conditions face long wait times, limited publicly funded services, or are deemed ineligible for public programs. As a non-profit organization, our goal is to ensure access to lifelong rehabilitation and wellness programs regardless of diagnosis, complexity, or financial circumstance. We are building a connected neurological community across Alberta by expanding peer and clinician supports, resources, and programming for individuals, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Our services are delivered by experienced physical and occupational therapists with advanced training in neurological rehabilitation. We currently provide private, in-home, and virtual therapy options, allowing us to meet individuals where they are. Our team uses a transdisciplinary approach to care, meaning multiple disciplines work together seamlessly to address all aspects of health and well-being through a unified treatment plan.
Unfortunately, many of the individuals we serve are unable to work, cannot afford essential therapy, and do not qualify for publicly funded programs. As a newly established non-profit, we rely on community support to continue offering services and to grow our subsidized therapy program for those in need. Your support helps us empower individuals with neurological conditions to live meaningful, productive, and connected lives.
