We have been serving Medicine Hat and surrounding area for 45 years by provides protective care for sick, injured and unwanted animals. We also have several programs that benefit the community including our Spay and Neuter Assistance Program, Emergency Boarding Services, Whiskers & Wellness, and coming in the fall of 2024, Humane Education to allow for further education within our amazing local schools. Our shelter is part of our communities, and our communities are part of our shelter. 

Both staff and volunteers prioritize both physical and mental health of our animals by creating an enriching environment with scents, games, obedience, and of course lots of treats. Help us, Help them by supporting the Medicine Hat SPCA.
