Rooted on the edge of the University of Alberta’s North Campus, the Martin Luther House serves as a hub for students and young adults dwelling in the intersection of faith and academics. We hold space in this exciting and transformative moment in life for big questions, new directions, and discernment as students and young adults explore who they are created and called to be: in, with, and for the world.
Tuesday Night Dinners freely nourish students with a hearty meal and caring conversation. Sunday Night Worship services invite students into the depth and breadth of God’s love for them in Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and send them out into God’s good creation to love and serve the world. And every day, our chaplain, Elly McHan, is ready to provide pastoral care and support to students.
Lutheran Campus Ministry is a proud member of the Reconciling in Christ community that is committed to being welcoming, open, and affirming to all 2SLGBTQIA+ siblings in Christ and a ministry of the Synod of Alberta and the Territories, one of five synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC).
