Founded in 1984, our registered charity supports the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village (UCHV) in realizing its full potential as a world-renowned living history museum. We are dedicated to providing strong and visionary leadership in preserving Ukrainian-Canadian history and heritage so that present and future generations can enjoy and understand an authentic pioneer experience. Our Friends Society operates a variety of programs at the museum, including employing seasonal interpreters, food service and catering, ownership of the Silska Domiwka (Red Barn), retail giftshop, and the Historical Children's Program summer day camp.
