The Calgary Flare is a beacon to these players, signaling they belong.

Our Mission
We challenge existing norms and break down barriers in sport, with a strong emphasis on equity and inclusion at all levels. We are committed to fostering a culture of mutual respect—for every teammate, opponent, and community member—on and off the ice. Through our actions, we proudly promote 2SLGBTQIA+ equality and strive to be recognized as leaders in acceptance and inclusion in sport.
