We are a grass-roots, citizen-led group, moved to action by the death of a man from exposure, who was unsheltered and passed away while sleeping outside at the Athabasca waterfront. We realized that there was a need for a society that helps unhoused people and took steps to create the organization.

We believe that housing is a human right and that everyone deserves housing, no matter what is going on in their lives. We understand that there are different reasons people become homeless and strive to meet the needs of unhoused folks on an individual basis.
