BACKGROUND: Leisure Days is a non-profit organization that serves Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, and Sherwood Park. We provide wellness based day programs for adults living in the community. Our programs are operated by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Currently, Leisure Days operates an intergenerational/wellness program on Tuesdays and a wellness program on Fridays. Our hope is to make these days more accessible to clients and families who need additional respite.

At Leisure Days , we are on a mission to provide wellness activities for all individuals and respite for their caregivers.  With your support, we will be able to offer affordable spaces in our day program to enhance the overall wellbeing of those who attend, including our unique intergeneration day.

Our day program positively impacts our clients by providing evidence-based activities designed to enhance their wellness and maintain their independence as long as possible.  For those in our intergenerational day, the allocation of spaces for children to attend creates unparalleled benefits for all participants.  For caregivers, our program offers respite so they can continue to care for their loved ones with a reduced risk of burnout. 

We need YOU to make our program a more affordable reality as our population ages and the need for reliable and meaningful care increases.
