Band Members range in age and musical abilities, but they all
share the enjoyment of making and sharing music with others! They
are teenageres through retirees drawn from Fort Saskatchewan and
neighbouring communities who play a wide variety of repertoire in
the wind ensemble setting.
Each season, the Band performs
throughout Fort Saskatchewan and area at special events,
ceremonies, showcases, trade fairs, facilities and seniors' residences.
The Fort Saskatchewan Community Band has been a proud part
of Fort Saskatchewan arts and culture since 1984.
Recognized as City of Fort Saskatchewan
Ambassadors in 2004, Members proudly carry their
community spirit into all performance situations.
The Fort Community Band is recognized as a non-profit
volunteer society by the Government of Alberta and a registered
charitable organization by Revenue Canada.
