After eight years in our beautiful new theatre, some of our equipment is showing its age. It’s time to give our technician booth a boost with a fresh infusion of new technology to support our shows. This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising funds to support the purchase of a new computer, projector, and lighting console for the Varscona Theatre.

About the Varscona
The Varscona Theatre Alliance Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing one of Old Strathcona’s most vibrant cultural landmarks in Edmonton. Rebuilt in 2016, our intimate 200-seat auditorium serves as the home base for three resident companies: Shadow Theatre, Teatro Live, and Die-Nasty: The Live Improvised Soap Opera. We proudly support artists and audiences by offering affordable access to a stunning professional theatre space. A cornerstone venue of the Edmonton Fringe Festival, the Varscona captivates over 29,000 patrons annually, playing a vital role in fostering a thriving artistic community.
