Camrose Animal Alliance Rescue Society was formed when three concerned citizens of Camrose ab came together for their love of animals and experience working through rescue with other companies. We were hearing a need for a place for abandoned animals on properties in the county and specializing in semi-feral and feral. We also believe in trap and release programs and hope to work on introducing a TNR within the city of Camrose. 

We no longer believe the population of homeless animals can be solved strictly with adoption and we need to be actively educating about the importance of responsible pet ownership not only by spaying/neutering but also the health complications that come from not vaccinating your pets. 

Since opening in 2020, we have helped more than 365 animals. Our donations go directly back to the care of our animals, of course, vet costs and litter being our top two costs yearly, by donating to us, you can ensure our animals are properly being cared for the way they need to be. All our adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and six-week pet insurance. With over 80 cats/kittens in care and our ongoing community programs, we have also moved into taking dogs. We currently have over ten dogs/puppies in care and most recently taking in this emergency intake today, which we have yet to name! 

CAARS strives to make a difference in our communities, giving back when we can and continuing to be the voice for those who have none. We are so fortunate to have an amazing support base as well as have had an increase in our adoptions, allowing us to continue the fight! we appreciate all help no matter the size.
