In February 2025, we'll be expanding our village to the community of Anzac! The space, located within the Anzac Recreational Centre, will increase access to programming for families living in Anzac, Fort McMurray First Nation #468 and Gregoire Lake Estates. 

We will be offering many of the same popular program offerings that we do in our downtown Fort McMurray location, such as Free Play, Child Development programs and Parenting programs. 

Our weekly programs service early learning and child development by providing creative and imaginative play opportunities for children aged 0-6 years. Our parenting and caregiver programs provide practical tools to help manage everyday family life while creating opportunities for families to connect, share their experiences and create support networks. 

Our Anzac Village will also offer programming, services, and specialized learning spaces tailored to meet the needs and requests of families in nearby communities. Your support will help create inclusive, accessible spaces to support healthy families and communities. 

The Hub has been serving rural communities since 2008 by offering Hub on Wheels mobile programming and continues to do so. Feedback from the Anzac community has indicated a need for more programming. A physical space will allow us to offer more programming, increase flexibility, host partner agencies, and improve access to supports.
