Public libraries are no longer about what we have; they're about what we do and our programming is at the core of this. Our programs at Stony Plain Public Library provide an opportunity for citizens to connect with one another while learning new skills. 

Each year, it costs Stony Plain Public Library over $7,000 to run the 600+ program sessions we run. We registered over 6,000 program attendees in 2022.

Having recently moved into a beautiful new facility, the library is hoping to raise funds to offset the cost of our state-of-the-art building. All contributions to our programming will be reinvested for this purpose.

All supporters will receive a custom thank you card from the Director and will be recognized by the board at an upcoming meeting.

Campaigns can receive up to a maximum of $2,500 in top-up funding. In order to be eligible, campaigns must have a minimum target of $5,000 and must reach 75% of their campaign goal within four weeks of launching. So, a $5,000-campaign would be eligible for $1,250 (25% of their campaign goal) in top-up funds, if it achieved 75% of its goal within four weeks.
