The Calgary Climate Hub is a group that’s taking decisive action on climate issues. We are an organized movement made up of a diverse group of citizens who are united in our conviction that we can build a better world while fighting climate change.

Since our formation in 2017, we have empowered, educated, and mobilized Calgarians to take local action, push for climate-focused municipal policies, and created notable impacts, such as:

Council’s adoption of the Climate Strategy
Increased funding for climate infrastructure - the 5A Cycling Network
A temporary logging moratorium in Kananaskis
Advancing Tree Equity - Created a Tree Equity Map, and planted Tiny Forests across Calgary's communities
Addressing urban sprawl and housing affordability
Awarded annual Youth Climate Bursaries to support student climate action
Production of our monthly Climate Lens Podcast, to advance climate literacy and perspectives
Eco Elders Action - Seniors climate rallies and awareness campaigns

After years of successful climate action, advocacy, and community-building, the Calgary Climate Hub needs your help!
