What is the need?
Animal shelters across Alberta are overwhelmed with homeless pets and there are just not enough adoptive homes for them all. Every day, individuals in crisis, who deeply love and care for their pets, feel forced to surrender them due to difficult circumstances. Our mission is to keep pets and families together. Preserving the human-animal bond benefits both people and their pets, preventing cherished family animals from ending up in overcrowded shelters. By offering support, we can achieve this together. This approach also allows those of us in animal welfare to dedicate space and resources to truly homeless animals in urgent need.
What you will support?
Your support will allow us to continue to keep our Pet Food Banks in Edmonton and Calgary open.
Your support will provide medical care for pets to keep them in their homes and out of shelters, allowing us to rescue and save those animals in most need who do not have a family to love them.

Your gift will help us to purchase food and supplies for our assistance programs, as well as assist with medical costs for animals in need. Your generous donation will keep families together AND save lives.
Your Impact!
When you support this program you are helping that single mom that needs to just get through the end of the month keep her dog her kids love so much. You help that senior on a small pension get the medical care for her beloved companion cat. Your support will not only help pets, but people too and there is no better feeling than to help someone in need!
People and animals need us more now than ever and our preventative programs, such as the food bank, spay/neuter and medical assistance are what is going to help reduce animal suffering and save more lives.
