Government of Alberta is providing top-up funding for campaigns with
significant community support demonstrated on Crowdfunding Alberta.
Campaigns that reach 75 percent of their campaign goal within four
weeks of launching may be eligible for up to $2,500. Click ‘Top-up

Not that long ago we introduced you to Afsa and her family and
promised to bring you more of this one family's
Journey to Janus story.
On Afsa’s first day at Janus, she walked into the school wide eyed and curious, taking in all the new surroundings, instructors, and classmates. Moments later, she shared her infectious giggle – now a prevalent and welcoming sound heard throughout the hallways of Janus. Afsa has limited vocal communication but with the help of her teachers, she is finding other ways to communicate and continuing to strengthen her vocalizations to express her wants and needs.
In just three short months, Afsa is thriving in an environment that is set up for her to succeed. She is excited to come to school each morning and that is a dream come true for her parents. The simple joy of knowing how much Afsa loves coming to Janus and learning is a true gift.
Afsa has a bright future ahead of her and this is possible because YOU are supporting specialized education for children with autism. Small classrooms sizes with a dedicated educational team means Afsa and her classmates get individualized attention based on their learning needs. With your support, more students like Afsa will have the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their potential.
