Government of Alberta is providing top-up funding for campaigns with
significant community support demonstrated on Crowdfunding Alberta.
Campaigns that reach 75 percent of their campaign goal within four
weeks of launching may be eligible for up to $2,500. Click ‘Top-up

The Calgary Climate Hub is a group that’s taking action on climate issues. We are an organized movement made up of a diverse group of people who are united in our conviction that we can succeed in building a better world while fighting climate change.
Since our formation in 2017, we have empowered and mobilized Calgarians to demand climate action in our city. We’ve pushed for climate-focused municipal policies and have won great successes like:
- Calgary’s Green Line LRT approval in 2020,
- Enmax’s Net Zero by 2050 Declaration in 2021,
- Calgary’s declaration of a climate emergency in 2021,
- Council’s adoption of the Climate Strategy in 2022,
- Increased funding for climate infrastructure like the 5A Cycling Network in 2022,
- City-wide property rezoning to increase urban density / end sprawl, in 2023.
After years of successful climate action, advocacy and community-building, the Calgary Climate Hub has reached a crossroads.This year we have been recognized as a Registered Charitable Organization . Our movement is larger than ever, but we can’t keep up this momentum without your financial support .
