The Calgary Climate Hub is excited to present our new program, The Climate Lens , an opportunity to hear about the hottest topics from a climate perspective and connect them back to local level climate action in Calgary. We'll discuss how we can use local wins to influence and support other localities, the province, the country and the world.

This show features real people on the ground in the former oil-and-gas-only town of Calgary, Alberta – a city facing an energy transition and a population increasingly open to taking up the challenge. In regularly released 15-30 minute talks, hear news breakdowns as the stories are unfolding, including insights from local experts, editorials, and Climate Hub correspondents live in the field.

This funding will ensure that this vital programming will continue as we change our model to a self sustaining podcast. Although our online shows are only one arm of our communication, it is an incredibly successful arm that showcases people involved in Climate Action all around Alberta. This helps to combat misinformation and gather communities together to advocate for Climate Action and Policy change at a municipal level with a main focus on Environmental Justice. This work is far from done and the Climate Hub’s communication strategy ensures that all voices are heard in this fight for Climate Justice and Action.
