An Alberta Community Coming Together for Independence
We invite you to be part of something meaningful this season. Infinite Abilities Assistance Dogs (IAAD) is a proudly Albertan, community-driven, non-profit dedicated to raising and training assistance dogs that empower individuals with disabilities to live with greater independence. We are honoured to have become a Registered Canadian Charity in March and a Qualified Service Dog Provider in November 2025 and we are excited to continue growing our programs with the support of our local community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to train highly skilled assistance dogs that support individuals with physical and medical disabilities. Our dogs are raised and trained with care, compassion, and purpose, guided by experienced trainers and supported by a strong network of volunteers, supporters, and community partners.
We train a variety of assistance dogs, including:
- Mobility Service Dogs
- Hearing Dogs
- Diabetic Alert Dogs (for Type 1 diabetes)
- Facility Support Dogs (that work in Education, Medical, Victim Services and Child Advocacy agencies)
Every dog’s journey is rooted in ethical training, strong foundations, and a deep respect for the powerful human-animal bond.
Our Holiday Goal: $5,000
This holiday season, we are working to raise $5,000 to support the next generation of IAAD assistance dogs, specifically our “ Canadian Wildlife litter” , who are just beginning their journey. Our girls Otter and Raven and boys, Polar , Martin , Grizz , and Badger hope you will support them on their journey and help cover essential costs, including:
- Canine nutrition to support healthy growth
- Veterinary care to ensure strong, healthy puppies
- Foundational training that sets each puppy up for long-term success
These early investments are critical. They lay the groundwork for confident, capable dogs who will one day change lives.
