A Children's Theatre Festival? What's that?

We are bringing together some of the best of the best in the professional Theatre for Young Audiences world to present to you a full day festival of fun, creativity, and community connection!

Picture This:

You're sitting on a blanket, eating delicious poutine and tacos from your favourite local food trucks, watching an absolutely incredible live musical full of hilarious jokes and catchy tunes that your kids actually like. You're surrounded by stilt performers and jugglers and clowns (not the scary kind, I promise!!)

After the show you head over to enjoy the crafting station and get your kiddo's face painted. Maybe they even get to meet a princess or two! And at the end of the day, you pack up your things, with your exhausted but delighted children, and you only have to drive for 5 minutes before you get to kick up your feet and relax, because this all happened RIGHT HERE IN COCHRANE!!!​

How could something so wonderful be coming to our town, you ask?​

But here's the thing, we do need to ask you a favour. We're looking to raise $7,500 to make this dream a reality.

We are 3 non-profit theatre companies located right here in Cochrane (the only 3 non-profit theatre companies located right here in Cochrane) and we are on a mission to bring more theatre to our beautiful town!

Black Box Theatre Guild, whose mission it is to create and maintain a professional quality theatre space in Cochrane, AB.

Sleeping Giants Theatre Society, whose mission it is to bring quality theatre education and experiences to the people of Cochrane and surrounding areas.

Take a Bow Theatre Society, whose mission it is to be an active community driven organization that encourages participation in the production and enjoyment of live theatre, while striving to enhance the local arts community.
