The
Government of Alberta will match 50% of funds raised, up to $5,000
annually, to eligible non-profit organizations. Match funding
eligibility is assessed automatically and transferred through
electronic funds (EFT). Campaigns that raise $10,000 within eight
weeks of launching may be eligible for up to $5,000. Click ‘Match

About Us
HomeFront supports individuals and families experiencing domestic violence through a coordinated community and justice response. We receive 100% of referrals from the Calgary Police Service in cases where charges have been laid for domestic violence.
Ending the cycle of domestic violence in a family requires the support of multiple agencies working together to support victims and address the complexities of the issue. HomeFront partners with the justice system, police and community organizations to provide our clients with the information, resources, tools, advocacy, education and support they require to live safe and healthy futures free of domestic violence.
HomeFront sits in the Specialized Domestic Violence Court five days a week, where we collaborate with our partners in the justice system to ensure that cases are treated in a timely fashion with the needs of the family kept at the forefront. Our Case Managers provide wrap around support to victims throughout the court process including providing court updates, safety planning, risk assessments, and support in accessing resources to reduce barriers they may face.
Since the inception of HomeFront in 2001, there has been a 75% reduction in reoffence rates for domestic violence in Calgary.
