This Diwali, the Festival of Lights, We Together Strong Community is bringing light, warmth, and nourishment to those who need it most in Edmonton.
For the past five years, our community—made up mostly of postal workers and volunteers—has been serving food hampers, hot meals, and emergency relief to families and individuals facing hardship. Every Saturday, we provide food support, and during disasters like the Jasper wildfires, we stepped in with meals and essential supplies.
This year, we are expanding our Diwali efforts:
Hosting a special community meal event on October 18, 2025, to serve hot, freshly prepared meals, water, and care packages to Edmonton’s homeless population.
Continuing our Weekly Food Hamper Program, which supports struggling families across Edmonton with essential groceries.
Diwali is about spreading joy, light, and hope. With your support, we can ensure that no one is left in darkness or hunger during this festival and beyond.

We are seeking $2,000 to cover the costs of:
Nutritious hot meals and beverages for the homeless
Water, snacks, and care essentials
Weekly food hampers for families in need
Logistics, packaging, and safe food distribution
