The journey to healing is not always linear.
At Our Solid Roots Association, our foremost objective is to establish meaningful connections with women, as they play a pivotal role in our work. Through these connections, we extend our support to mothers and children, elders, and other community members in need. By fostering these relationships, we strive to develop healthier communities and assist those battling substance use to achieve sobriety.
Our Solid Roots Association seeks to create safe spaces for individuals to access resources and support from therapists and caregivers. Working with diverse communities, we recognize the difficulties marginalized people face in maintaining sobriety while enduring racialized trauma and discrimination in their daily lives. We seek to foster a supportive community that provides essential services for the healing journey.
The gap between treatment and staying sober is caused by challenges faced following treatment, such as loneliness and lack of purpose. By creating and sustaining spaces for community and essential services, Our Solid Roots Association hopes to foster lasting healing.
Your donation will help support people post detox and treatment from substance use to sustain sobriety and create transformative change within our communities.
