Drumheller and Region Transition Society (D.A.R.T.S.) provides community disability services to adults and children with special needs in Drumheller and area. The widespread community of Drumheller has no transit system, while other public transportation systems tend to be very expensive and have limited operational hours. Some of the people we support have a limited income, thus the opportunity to access resources and be involved in their community can be very limited. Purchasing a wheelchair van has become a priority for our agency. 

You can help us provide affordable transportation that is available anytime. Your help will enhance people's quality of life by providing them with access to their community for their personal, social and spiritual needs, access to local and out of town medical services and access to employment and volunteer opportunities.

All funds raised will go towards the purchase of a wheelchair van. Fundraising is a crucial part of meeting the needs of the people we support. 

We envision a future where all people, regardless of their abilities are included, respected and valued members of their community.

Charities are eligible for a maximum of $5,000.00 in match funding from the Government of Alberta.
