In 2026, our Concert Choir has been invited to perform at the International Children’s Festival in London, Canterbury, and Rochester—an unforgettable musical and cultural opportunity for our boys.
For over 50 years, the Calgary Boys’ Choir has shaped boys into confident young men through high-quality choral training and formative experiences. Touring internationally is the pinnacle of their choir experience , but the cost of touring places a heavy burden on families.
We’re raising $9,000 to provide $1,000 toward each chorister’s tour costs , ensuring every boy can participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Membership in the Calgary Boys’ Choir has declined over the past five years, meaning fewer boys experience the joy and growth that come from singing together. Yet our commitment to excellence remains strong: we continue to deliver high‑quality musical instruction and unforgettable opportunities like Tour.
The challenge is that tour participation is limited by cost, which prevents some families from joining and makes it harder to attract new members. The solution is to make tours accessible to all boys. A successful tour not only provides a life-changing experience for our current boys but inspires new prospective families to enroll.
