For more than 125 years, the Red Deer Curling Centre has been a gathering place for sport, community, and tradition. Today, we’re asking our community to help us take the next step forward.  

We’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to support much-needed facility improvements that will enhance the experience for curlers, spectators, volunteers, and guests—while ensuring our club remains strong and sustainable for years to come.  

Why Your Support Matters  

Through the  Government of Alberta’s Community Crowdfunding Matching Program , eligible donations are  matched at 50%, up to $5,000 per year . This means every contribution has added impact, helping stretch community dollars further and allowing us to complete projects that would otherwise be out of reach.  

Like many non-profit recreation facilities, ongoing improvements play an important role in keeping the Red Deer Curling Centre welcoming and sustainable. Community support helps move these projects forward.  

What We’re Raising Funds For  

Funds raised through this campaign will be directed toward priority facility improvements, including:  

• Overhead on-ice cameras -  These cameras provide live views of games and practices, helping players, coaches, spectators, and volunteers better follow the action while enhancing player development and event showcasing.  

• TVs in the lounge -  TVs in the lounge allow spectators to watch games in real time while enjoying the social side of curling, creating a more inclusive and engaging experience for families, sponsors, and guests.  

These upgrades will allow spectators to follow the action from anywhere in the facility, enhance event hosting, and create a more engaging and inclusive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
