Our incredible equine partners provide healing and hope every day. They are the true heroes of our program carrying our mission forward on their backs. They each have their unique traits but share the ability to help heal minds, bodies and souls. Every week, year after year they always manage to bring their best to the arena to support their riders. Our horses help their riders achieve things many of us take for granted — such as freedom of movement, a sense of accomplishment and feeling part of a community. Riders like Bryson, a nine-year-old with Social & Behavioural problems, to gain self-control and acceptance through riding. You are helping him feel in control of his world. Riders like Erin, a thirty-nine-year-old with a traumatic brain injury, to improve strength and muscle control through riding. You are helping her gain physical strength. Riders like Eathyn, a four year old with Cerebral Palsy, to gain core strength and balance through riding. You are helping him face his future with strength and confidence. And riders like Alex, an 8 year old with Global Delay, to maintain his strength, balance and develop his cognitive skills through riding. You are helping him expand his world.

We are inviting you, our supporters, to play Santa to our very special herd. By providing the resources and supports to help us care for our equines, you are impacting not only these strong and majestic animals but also over 350 therapeutic riders that rely on their horse partners for their mental, physical and developmental health goals.

You will be recognized in our January digital newsletter as a campaign supporter and receive a personalized letter of thanks along with a photo of one of our amazing horses. Gifts of $250+ will be given the opportunity to have their photo taken with a horse at PARDS.
