Primrose Place Family Centre is raising money to purchase supplies and materials for our daycare and out-of-school care programs!
While we continue to seek funding from grant opportunities, often these applications require identifying a specific project that will be supported (for example, upgrading the equipment in the play yard). Our educators have identified items that do not fit well within recent grant opportunities but would support programming, operations, or child development in the center. These items include Carpets, Stools, Timers, Fidgets, Glassless mirrors, Climbing furniture sets, Shelves, Garbage Cans, and Sheets Cot Carriers. As the campaign progresses, we will share some short rhymes to explain more about how these common items help with early childhood education and development! We will share these through the update page and the poster tracker posted at the daycare.
About Primrose Place Family Centre
Primrose Place Family Centre is a non-profit organization that provides childcare to approximately 70 children, ages 11 months to 6 years. Founded in 1967, the Centre has offered top-quality programming to Edmonton families for over forty years.
Primrose Place Family Centre is a registered charitable organization administered by a voluntary Board of Directors. The board and its committees are made up of both parents of children in the center and members of the community.
Educated and experienced staff plan a curriculum consistent with the Centre’s philosophy that positive role-playing and learning through play is the most effective and appropriate method for children at the pre-school age.
