For 10 incredible years, Primo Music Association has been proud to bring Southern Alberta the very best in classical music, offering both free and ticketed concerts each summer through our beloved Centric MusicFest.

Thanks to the tremendous support from our corporate and individual sponsors, we’ve been able to share the magic of music with the community year after year. We couldn’t have come this far without you!

This year, we are seeking to boost our funding for more sustainable long-term fiscal planning. We believe that with your help, we can continue to offer the outstanding festival that Lethbridge and the surrounding area have come to expect.

Our goal is to raise $4,000 which will be eligible for matching funding through the Alberta government non-profit crowdfunding program. This will give us time to work hard over the next fiscal year to find new sponsors, and still meet our commitment to offer an 11th summer festival in 2025 (July3-6).

Your donation will enable us to continue championing classical music in Southern Alberta. Centric MusicFest supports educational outreach through free PopUp! Concerts, SoundWalk demonstrations in downtown Lethbridge, and by providing performance opportunities for emerging artists. We also offer a scholarship through the Lethbridge Music and Speech Arts Festival, presented at the 'Rising Stars and Final Bows' concert. The Centric String Quartet performs at significant locations like the Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens for 'Music in the Garden' and the picturesque Venue for New Hope during 'Music in the Country.' Additionally, our 'Candlelight Concert' offers a unique and memorable musical experience. As part of these incredible concert offerings, Primo Music Association is committed to paying artists professional-level compensation, recognising the personal and financial sacrifices many artists make in order to pursue their passion. We can only achieve this with your support and the recognition that fostering culture requires the active commitment of our entire community.
