Catholic Social Services’ Gianna Centre supports vulnerable women and their families in unplanned or crisis pregnancies. We offer free resources, supports, and advocacy, including pre- and post-natal services and baby care items.

The Market at Gianna is a social enterprise for our mothers to gain extra income and employment experience, independence, and entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Goods available include baby clothes, baked goodies, sandwiches and take-out meals, artwork, farm-fresh eggs, floral arrangements, handmade crafts, etc. Proceeds from the market go directly to the mothers in need.  The market has been established as a valuable initiative in the greater community, and empowers the women we serve with strength, reduced isolation, builds their sense of self worth, and allows the opportunity to connect with other individuals facing the same experiences, helping to end the cycle of poverty.
