Since 2000, HomeFront has supported individuals and families experiencing domestic violence through a coordinated community and justice response. Today, we are 25 years closer to ending domestic violence in our community.
Ending the cycle of domestic violence requires collaboration among justice and community agencies to support victims and address the root cause of violence. As the coordinating body of the Specialized Domestic Violence Court, HomeFront partners with Crown, Probation, Police and community agencies and ensures the family’s needs stay at the forefront.
Our Case Managers provide wrap-around support to victims throughout the court process including court updates, safety planning, risk assessments, and support in accessing resources, so they can live safe and healthy futures free of domestic violence.

Since HomeFront’s inception, there has been a 65% reduction in domestic violence reoffence rates in Calgary and an 85% reduction for first time offenders. In 2024, HomeFront expanded to Central Alberta and now serves 31% of Alberta’s population. Your gift increases the safety of Albertans experiencing domestic violence by providing access to HomeFront’s support as they start their journey of healing.
