Camp Kasota West is celebrating 100 years of camping in 2025! Campers stay overnight on site for a week in cabins, many of which were built in the 1960s and are in need of renovations. Your donation will allow us to update and enhance our cabins, so we can continue to offer a unique camp experience to children and youth for another 100 years! The planned renovations that will be supported by your donations include:
- Update trim around windows and doors
- Paint the exterior of the buildings
- Reshingle roofs
- Replace doors
- Upgrade interiors as required.
Camp Kasota West is a non-profit organization located on 42 Acres of lakefront property in the Sylvan Lake Area. We provide a fun and educational program for campers to grow, have new experiences, make new friends and enjoy the great outdoors. We do so by having a diverse staff with many backgrounds and certifications, and providing a wide variety of programming options for all age groups of children and youth.
With your help, CKW can receive up to $5000 in matching funds from the Government of Alberta in the first 8 weeks of our campaign to support these cabin enhancements. Whether you’re able to give $10 or $100, every donation will bring us closer to our goal and will be recognized in our annual report. You will also receive a tax receipt for any contributions of $20 or more.
