Rugby and Dempsey are the Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch Facility Trauma Dogs Extraordinaire.  As co-therapists, they support individual therapy, group therapy, as well as family sessions for children who have been impacted by child sexual abuse. Our four legged friends enhance our Trauma-Informed healing environment through providing relational supports, sensing and supporting positive emotional regulation, providing healthy touch and therapeutic play opportunities. 

Animal Assisted Therapy can be especially beneficial to assist with overcoming trauma. Through unconditional love, the calming effects animals have on our nervous systems, and a nonjudgmental being can be easier to connect with, this trifecta is how animals can make trauma work a more comfortable and gentle process. 

As you can imagine, Rugby and Dempsey are our most popular team members. But they are expensive....

Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization focused on the awareness, prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
